Michelle
Michelle is special, not because she has a robotic arm but because she doesn't care at all about that.
She's what you might call an optomist, a Pollyanna. And that's not a bad concept at all. In fact, it's a notion... a great notion.
Some people may stare at her on the sidewalk and even feel sorry for her, but Michelle looks at it differently.
She thinks her robotic arm is cool and so do the boys. It doesn't stop her one bit.
Why, in Book 2, she burst into JamBusters on her own to see what they were doing there because, well, just because she wanted to.
Right now she lives in a white van with her mother.
She's sweet and smart and thinks tambourines make happy, tingling sounds. When she taps it on her robotic arm, it makes a loud klang.
Best of all, she made a tambour hat out of it, jingling whenever she moves. Maybe it's not great for hide-and-seek, but wonderful all the
same.
The best part for her at JamBuster, is that they have a full-sized xylophone she can play,besides making new friends, of course.
